Hakiu Poem

This is my haiku you have to have 3 sentences that go 5 7 5 syllables. A Haiku poem is a Japanese poem.  I got the idea about spiders so I code scare Scarlett. I kind of scared her but she is staring to get used to it. It was easy to write because I know a lot about spiders because I'm a bookworm and read everything

Narrative Writing - Mr Crabby

 I wrote a story about a character  named Mr Crabby and about Mr Crabby's first adventure!  My story had to have a problem and solution.  I made an animation about Mr Crabby's about adventure and turned it into a Movie.  I have worked hard on it. My favourite part was when the seagull dropped his lunch.

 

Beach and Box Fun

 I have a box that I made into a house and cut out a little flag and put in a hole so I could reach my arm though.  There are lots of little holes for breathing and I can fit inside it. 

Yesterday I went to the beach and I went body boarding, the waves were really rough and I flipped over once by a wave, but after that I had heaps of fun.  I loved bouncing on a big stick afterwards while holding on to another branch.  My favourite thing was jumping off sand dunes over my Dad named David.

I am 7 years of age. I love jokes & riddles.  I love all sports, my favourite sports are skiing, karate & parkour. 

Philippa

Philippa is my Mum. She has won lots of medals & trophies in boxing, rowing, cycling & lots of other sports.

David

David is my dad. He is a really good skier. He grew up in Colorado & then moved to New Zealand. 

Arthur

Arthur isn’t a person he is in fact a kunekune which is a breed of pig.. Arthur has black & White splotches on his hair. Arthur loves food & tries to have two dinners. Arthur bites the fence when he wants food. Arthur is ten years old.

Lockdown Lego creation

This is my forest killer. As you can see, the forest killer has a big claw on the front, an axe and a saw on one side, and two saws on the back. It has big wheels so it can go over very rough ground. The light is a safety light to not go near the vehicle while the engine is running. In this photo it has up rooted a tree.

Geronimo Stilton writing - Tasman

 My favourite books are Kingdom of Fantasy books that Geronimo writes. I love them because they have magical creatures. I am most like pixies. Pixies are very cheeky, they also dress in green & are small. Now let me introduce Geronimo Stilton. He is a writer but he also works at the Rodent’s Gazette, the most famouse newspaper on Mouse Island. 

Scribblehopper is Geronimo’s guide in the Kingdom of Fantasy. He loves to talk & wants to write a book one day. 

There are 13 books in the series, two special editions & number 14 is coming out in December 2021. I want to get the book because I have the whole set of books and  I don’t want to have one less.

This is my free choice writing about jokes. I have tried my best.

Jokes are good things to lift people's spirits. For example:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get too the other side. 

Why was the Calculation book so sad?

Because it had so many Problems. 

What’s the best smelling type of poo?-

Shampoo. 

Why can't a Leopard hide?

Because it always spotted. 

Ever heard a Skunk’s joke?

You don’t want to, it's too Stinky. 

Why did the Sailor not learn the Alphabet?

Because he spent too much time at c.

What did the blanket say to the person?

Don’t worry, I've got you covered. 

What did one camp fire say to the other?

Will we go out tonight. 

What do you put in a Muffin?- Your Teeth.

 What do you get if you combine a Chameleon  and a Black panther?

A Black chamelantner.   

 

Statistical Investigation

We are learning to:

• Pose investigative questions.

• Plan for and collect data.

• Display data in tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs.

• Make statements about data displays.

• Answer the investigative question.

We have had fun learning to use bar graphs and tally marks.  Tally marks are lines that cross when they get to 5.
 

First Animation

We were learning to make an Animation. I found it easy because we only had to Ctrl d.  Next time I will try to make more characters. This how I made my Animation. First I made my character. Second I moved my character and then pressed Ctrl d. Next time I would make more characters to make it more interesting.

Spelling

We were learning about our blends.
 

Introduction

 We were  learning to write  about  introductions so we could get our blog started.  We are getting our blogs started so we can share our work with others.  

Aloha my name is Tasman. I like activities as long as they are  fun. I am always full of energy  because  I  was  born like that.  My bff is Sam  because  we  met  each  other  when we  were  5 weeks   old.  My favourite food is pikelets because  they  are  little.  Two  of  my  cousins  are  Olly  and  Jack.
